From the proposals of her book "The Secrets of Storytelling" (Ed. CCS, Madrid, 2010), the author Beatriz Montero proposes a workshop designed for the biggers: the elderly. The objective of this workshop is to enhance recovery of memory and activation of the body with tales of oral tradition gradually being lost. Rescuing the stories they told us and activate the body with games that we fill with energy.
We will work in the sessions:
- The movement of the body through dance and music games.
- We'll play more than one word, word.
- Reciting poetry and folk songs, who said a bad memory?
- Rescue stories we heard long ago and that we will be collecting to keep them.
Objective: Enhance memory and restore the beautiful stories of our oral tradition that is still in memory.
Aimed at: Anyone who has something to tell.
Age: 65 and older.
Number of participants: At least 8 and a maximum of 25.
Classroom features: It is recommended a spacious and airy as possible between 16 and 100 square meters. The room dimensions depend on the number of participants. We need two outlets in the room to the stereo. The room should be quiet and good acoustics. We also need a number of seats equal to the number of participants.
Prerequisite: comfortable clothing.
